CHANEL expands in China and Brazil.

French luxury maison CHANEL inaugurated last week a new store in China, in the city of Dalian, reaching a total number of 12 mono-brand stores in China.

Chanel is set to open a new store in Nanjing by the end of this year. Brazil is also of a priority for Chanel’s expansion Chanel-Shanghai-Peninsula-Hotelthis year, with a third store to be inaugurated in Sao Paolo. In Europe, Chanel is opening by the end of this year, a mono-brand store in Luxembourg.

Privately held by the Wertheimer family, Chanel operates 180 mono-brand stores worldwide, with an estimated turnover of 3 billion euros.
