Slovakian furniture company DIZAJNO created another non-traditional piece of furniture.
The ‘Iris’ collection is inspired by the shape of the rainbow which lent the sofa and the chair its gently rounded shape and 7 colours. The individual upholstered elements can be joined together in order to create a modular sofa.
“The primary idea was light. Light consisting of colors. The colours in the everyday people´s life. The contrast of comfort and discomfort. The sun and the rain. That’s what all of us experience …,” says the author, designer Lubo Majer.
