Mulberry’s New Edinburgh Store

Mulberry has recently opened its new Edinburgh store, designed by Universal Design Studio.

Mulberry Edinburgh

The larger, two-storey location, also on Multrees Walk, has an optimised layout, updated design scheme and increased product offering. The space was designed to focus on creating a fluid connection between the store design and Mulberry’s dedication to craftsmanship; using tactile, natural materials and sophisticated references to form and function.

Natural materials like timber, limestone and brass provide tactility and warmth. The brass motif remains throughout the store as an homage to one of Mulberry’s signature materials, while the use of oak also remains, as a subtle link to the brand’s rural roots.

A destination area for ready-to-wear and footwear is positioned at the back of the ground floor, a new addition to the previous product offering in Edinburgh. This more luxurious and formal space is distinguished by dark carpet flooring and a new textured, polished plaster wall that features a pattern derived from traditional timber-framed houses.
