DIESEL SHIBUYA holds unique store installations by architects and interior designers to exhibit Home Collection “Successful Living from Diesel”.
Since 22nd February, 2013, an architect with many prize Chikara Ohno (sinato) gives a new look to the home collection section.

LINES CONCEPT:
This exhibition space for interior furnishings is made by gathering a variety of outlines, each one tracing a small space.
The scale of this kind of small space is not that of a room, but more like an extension of the furniture.
The combination of the various outlines creates a rich visual field where the visitor can view the furniture from the outside or by passing through.
Not so much a physical object, the intervention forms a loose environment with a unique scale and visual condition. In this space, it is the visitor and the furniture that take on a new presence.

Chikara Ohno / sinato
After graduating from the Department of Urban Design at Kanazawa University, worked freelance and founded sinato in 2004.
Specializing in the design of private houses and commercial space as well as projects related to advertising media and art, his activities have received many awards both inside and outside of Japan.
From 2011, serving as a part-time lecturer at Kyoto University of Art and Design.

In collaboration with Moroso for furniture, Foscalini for lighting, and Zucchi for textiles, the collection is highly recognized with its designs as well as its quality.
