LiSi Cosmetics New York TPG architecture

The brand was conceived by a husband & wife (owners of casual urban and footwear chain, Dr Jays) with a vision of providing the specialty retail experience of a high-end beauty boutique to a young, urban demographic by offering a full line of cosmetic products at an affordable price.

TPG Architecture was given the challenge by the client to design the 800 square foot prototype store concurrently with helping define the architectural brand itself.

TPG met this challenge by focusing the design on the target user and implementing flexibility to meet the needs of the clients evolving product lines andAN_arredamento-negozi_Lisi_New_York merchandizing.  White gloss wall panels, frosted glass, mirror and white quartz floor tiles create a clean, bright, inviting space and provide a neutral backdrop to display the vastly colored cosmetic products.

The wall fixtures were designed by TPG to prominently showcase the product lines and maximize consumer accessibility. The base drawers, providing much needed product storage, were fronted with “oiled teak” wood laminate giving the space a warm accent. The shelving was designed to adapt to a number of product display options and end panels were edged with stainless steel to help accentuate product categories and provide protection against wear and tear.

To promote visibility into the store, the narrow storefront was designed with a frameless glass system. An entry zone was created to promote access into the space and the gloss white sidewall became backdrops to flexible suspended Alu display fixtures.
