Idrisi shop is an interesting cloches boutique recently completed by the design studio Lagranja in Bilbao, Spain. The creative team behind the design sent over some information regarding the project: “In a world of mono brand shops and department stores there are still some real Boutiques around.”
Idrisi is a good examples of the opposite; a classic boutique, situated in Bilbao in the northern part of Spain. Idrisi offers a nice selection of Italian and French fashion brands such as Prada, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Dior.

Along the perimeter the clothes hang from a shelf. An entire wall is covered with backlit mirrors amplifying the perception of the narrow ground floor. Tables and counter are designed and manufactured as unique pieces for Idrisi in the shape of cages or as a huge crumpled aluminum sheet.

Lagranja came into being in 2002 by the will of Gabriele Schiavon and Gerard Sanmartì in Barcelona. The Studio’s main objective was to develop ideas, to propose new visions and solutions for contemporary living, following the concept of a creative capacity that ranges from design to architecture, and to fitting out. In Lagranja, theory follows practice, supporting both the instinct as well as the reason.
