Inaugurated the first-ever Fendi boutique to open in Germany is located in Munich, on Maximilianstraße, one of the city’s most prestigious shopping streets.
The new architectural concept represents the dialogue between the brand’s Roman heritage and the modernity of avant-garde design and art.
The boutique spreads across two floors with the ground floor featuring dark stone pavement that host the Iconic Scenario, the leather goods and accessories area and the Baguette Wall.
The first floor houses a series of thematic rooms, the shoes area, the Selleria Room and the Fur Room. Travertine, traditionally associated with classical monuments and architecture, is the protagonist, together with leather, bronze and stone.
Photographs and sketches by Karl Lagerfeld and tablets showing the fur workmanship are scattered throughout the store. Neighbors of the Fendi boutique include Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, Bottega Veneta.
