SHOP AND DISPLAY EQUIPMENT ASSOCIATION (SDEA) PUTS SUSTAINABILITY ON THE RETAIL DISPLAY MANUFACTURERS’ AGENDA

SDEA Shop Display Association

One of the keynote sessions at the upcoming Retail Design Expo Conference is a presentation and discussion by the Shop and Display Equipment Association on the developing SDEA Sustainability Initiative.

SDEA is committed to continually improving the profile of its members and the industry it represents.  One area which is attracting increasing attention, from both within the SDEA membership and also from their clients and consumers in general, is the subject of sustainability in the retail environments which SDEA members help create.

SDEA is determined to establish sustainability within the retail display sector by delivering to its members a tool which delivers sustainability without sacrificing cost, lead-time or functionality.

Marks & Spencer head of global specifications, store design, David Bloom, 4G Design managing director Pete Dawes and Dr Ed Suttie, director of BRE Sustainable Materials at the Building Research Establishment, will consider the environmental issues that are becoming so important to the retail sector.

The SDEA Sustainability session is scheduled for 12.15pm on Wednesday 11th March at the Retail Design Conference at Retail Design Expo, Olympia, London.  All sessions are free to attend.
