The Unitfive installation on the third floor of Toronto’s Saks Fifth Avenue is a delicate geometric interpretation of a forest, rendered in rose champagne metal.

The 90 foot long installation was hand made in Unitfive’s downtown Toronto studio using traditional hot forging and blacksmithing techniques, creating a sophisticated hammered texture. The team used over 5000 linear feet of raw steel to complete this work.

Each of the 47 ‘trees’ delicately spans the entire height from floor to ceiling, and its branches radiate outward, creating a lace-like veil that announces the luxury women’s fashion department.
The three-part installation adds a textural richness, accentuating the beauty of the luxury fashion offerings.
Unitfive is a Toronto-based design and fabrication firm that specializes in site-specific sculptural installations, lighting, furniture and sophisticated objects for premium retailers, hotels, restaurants and private clients worldwide.
