The new Miin Cosmetics concept store in Bilbao is defined by a total pink concept store approach that shapes a compact and immersive beauty retail space. Located on calle Colón de Larreátegui, in the Abando district, the 25 sqm store accommodates over 200 Korean skincare products, organized within a cohesive chromatic and material system.
A total pink concept store by PPT Interiorismo
Designed by PPT Interiorismo, the studio led by Helena Puig, the project applies a controlled and consistent use of color across all surfaces. Walls, custom furniture and display elements are treated as a continuous system, reinforcing the brand’s visual identity.
Spatial layout and customer flow
Within a limited footprint, the layout is structured around a central display element that defines the spatial hierarchy. This focal point organizes circulation and frames the interaction with the products.
Perimeter shelving follows a clear and legible arrangement, supporting product visibility while maintaining spatial order. As a result, the store balances density and clarity, ensuring a readable retail experience.
Visual merchandising and lighting
A dedicated Mask Bar introduces a focused experiential component within the store. The display presents a curated selection of face masks within a controlled lighting setup, designed to enhance both color perception and material quality.
Lighting is integrated as a spatial tool rather than a decorative layer. It interacts with the pink surfaces to modulate depth and atmosphere, contributing to the overall coherence of the retail space.
Material identity and brand positioning
The monochromatic approach operates as a strategic device, translating the brand identity founded by Lilin Yang into spatial form. Color becomes both a visual and organizational tool, supporting orientation, recognition and product storytelling.
The project positions the store within the Korean skincare retail landscape through a clear synthesis of layout efficiency, visual merchandising and controlled sensory experience.
