After establishing a solid presence with three stores in its home region, the Campanian brand Sartoria Condotti selects Milan as a launchpad to establish itself in the high-end men’s tailoring sector. Italy’s fashion capital thus becomes the new stage for exporting the brand’s know-how and reinforcing its status of excellence in the industry.
A long-standing partnership with SpinaDesign
The collaboration between Francesco Mucciardi, founder of Sartoria Condotti, and the SpinaDesign studio remains strong and enduring. The Neapolitan studio has not only designed the brand’s stores but also oversees the architectural projects for the family’s private residences.

The concept of the Milan store
Located at 3 Via Turati, the new Milanese store follows the same concept successfully tested in the brand’s other locations: clean, essential lines, premium natural materials, and an ambiance that evokes the warmth and craftsmanship of an authentic tailoring workshop.
The designers have focused on creating a warm, welcoming space in line with the brand’s philosophy, which emphasizes the concept of “handmade.” The displays, crafted in wengé wood and embedded in plasterboard niches, are modular and versatile. Thanks to the use of adjustable brackets, they can be customized to ensure maximum flexibility in product presentation.

Materials and design details
A distinctive feature of the project is the frame surrounding the displays, made of solid wood with satin-finished steel inserts that enhance the design. This same motif is echoed in the checkout counter and display desk, both of which feature a combination of solid panels and glass display sections.
Material variations can be seen in the checkout counter and the shoe display, where wengé is replaced by natural oak, combined with a bronzed mirrored backing to maintain the store’s dark and sophisticated color scheme.
Lighting and ambiance
Lighting plays a fundamental role in the project. LED strips embedded in the joinery highlight the furniture’s lines, while suspended track-mounted projectors emit a natural light (4500K), chosen to preserve the true colors of the garments and create a refined, uniform illumination.
The walls and ceiling, painted in a medium-gray tone, create an elegant contrast with the furniture without making the space feel heavy, instead enhancing the design details and the quality of the tailored garments.
Finishes and decorative elements
The flooring retains the store’s original parquet, which has been carefully sanded and polished to blend harmoniously with the furnishings. Walls not used for displays are decorated with images that communicate Sartoria Condotti’s brand philosophy, reinforcing the connection between tradition and innovation.
