A crystal-like gem by Ippolito Fleitz Group
Inside Moscow’s Atrium Mall, a remarkable example of miniature jewellery store design unfolds in just 10.2 square meters. Conceived by the renowned architecture and design firm Ippolito Fleitz Group, this retail jewel transforms a former ventilation shaft into an immersive luxury experience.
A walk-in jewellery box in just 10 sqm
With all commercial units in the mall already leased, the design team had to think creatively. The result is an ingenious solution: a walk-in jewellery box that makes the most of an extremely limited footprint. Every detail serves a purpose, ensuring that function and elegance coexist seamlessly.

Velvet surfaces and invisible mechanisms
The interior is lined with diamond-shaped wall panels upholstered in fuchsia velvet. These are interspersed with embedded rhomboid display cases, offering a layered visual rhythm. Hidden opening systems allow the cabinetry to function without interrupting the design’s cohesion. Even the mini cash desk, sculpted like a crystal, combines aesthetic impact and practical utility.

This compact yet luxurious space is a testament to how smart spatial planning and expressive materials can turn constraints into opportunities—showcasing how miniature retail can still deliver maximum impact.
