MW Design creates an essential and luminous boutique interior
MW Design completes ART HAUS Boutique in Taipei with a contemporary and essential architectural language. The entire space is conceived as a permanent gallery, allowing the merchandise to be moved, reorganised, and displayed according to different curatorial opportunities. This flexible approach transforms the boutique into a versatile environment suited not only to retail but also to temporary exhibitions, pop-up activations, and seasonal events.

A fluid layout defined by balanced and elegant materials
The interior is clean, modern, and meticulously composed. Carefully selected design elements highlight the clothing collections, home accessories, jewellery, and books. Sleek partition walls interact with a white and grey terrazzo flooring, chosen to introduce a refined and distinctive texture.

The columns clad in Ariston white marble add depth and a sense of quiet luxury. Rounded display counters with pale blue marble bases create a soft material rhythm, while golden metal hanging rails are freely arranged throughout the space to maintain an airy and well-balanced atmosphere.

Integrated LED lighting for a contemporary retail experience
Lighting plays a crucial role in the project. MW Design adopted a ceiling-integrated LED lighting system with adjustable and extendable fixtures, offering maximum flexibility in directing the light according to display needs. The relationship between directed lighting, reflective surfaces, and mineral materials produces a bright ambience aligned with the brand’s refined identity.

Project details and credits
Approximately 80% of the boutique’s flooring is made of traditional terrazzo, a material choice that distinguishes the project from more conventional retail solutions and contributes to its sophisticated atmosphere.
