Emporium Men Baku: refined retail design for menswear shopping

Emporium Men in Baku

Introduction to Emporium Men Baku

Emporium Men, the newly opened boutique at Port Baku Mall, introduces a fresh retail design concept for men’s fashion. Designed by GARDE Italy, the space provides a refined and contemporary shopping experience. The store spreads over three levels, offering a curated selection of menswear in a setting that blends clean geometry with a monochrome palette.

Materials, colors, and atmosphere

The concept relies on a simple chromatic base of grey, accentuated by warm tones and a soft glow from strategically placed lighting. Surfaces combine matte and glossy textures to create visual depth, while metal details reflect the surrounding elements to amplify spatial perception.

Flexible layout and retail elements

The boutique features custom freestanding furniture, modular tables, and display platforms. These elements can be easily relocated, allowing constant updates to product presentation. Moreover, the pentagonal shapes of the furniture help soften the rigid geometry of the space, creating a fluid and inviting flow throughout the store.

Spatial organization and layout

The store’s three levels are connected by a clear vertical axis that supports a fluid customer journey. Each level offers a distinct experience, maintaining visual coherence through materials and color tones. Transitional areas between sections are carefully designed to guide the visitor through different product zones without abrupt interruptions.

Façade and exterior design

The store’s façade features a large glass window partially covered by a flexible metal curtain. This curtain not only softens the exterior image but also provides a surface for displaying signage and department names. As a result, the entrance maintains transparency while enhancing the store’s street presence.
