Dior Men Boutique in Moscow

Project Dior Men boutique in Moscow by Denzo

The Dior Men boutique in Moscow occupies a 150 sqm space in a historic building on Stoleshnikov Lane. Previously used as a temporary Dior women’s boutique, the interior was transformed to accommodate the men’s collections through a new combination of finishes, furnishings, carpets and lighting.

Implemented under the direction of Moscow-based management company Denzo, the project draws references from Dior’s Parisian retail identity, with the Avenue Montaigne boutique providing a point of reference for the Moscow interior.

From a temporary boutique to Dior Men

The transformation of the existing space focused on adapting its character to the Dior Men collections without changing its compact footprint.

New decorative wall finishes, carpets, ceiling elements and furniture were introduced to establish a different identity within the 150 sqm interior.

The result is organised through a sequence of clearly defined product areas, combining the fashion collections with furniture, decorative objects and lighting.

Accessories, footwear and ready-to-wear define the layout

The accessories area introduces the boutique immediately beyond the entrance.

The remaining space is organised with the footwear area to the right and ready-to-wear to the left, establishing a straightforward distribution that separates the principal merchandise categories while maintaining visual continuity across the store.

The fitting room introduces a more intimate setting, with handcrafted wall finishes and a selection of contemporary furniture.

Oak, blue carpets and collectible furniture

Material contrasts play an important role in defining the interior.

Honey-toned oak flooring is combined with bright blue carpets designed by Peter Marino’s architectural studio, creating a strong chromatic contrast within the otherwise restrained palette.

The furniture selection includes chairs by Gerd Couckhuyt and a table by Philippe Hurel.

A carved sculptural mirror from the Farfelus Farfadets gallery in Paris is positioned above the checkout area, adding another distinctive element to the composition.

Motorised lighting completes the interior

Lighting is integrated into the overall retail concept through a motorised system that can be controlled via smartphone.

Rather than functioning only as general illumination, the system works together with the material palette and product displays, allowing different areas and surfaces to be visually emphasised within the compact store.

Through its combination of spatial organisation, oak flooring, blue carpets, selected furniture and controlled lighting, the Moscow boutique translates the Dior Men retail identity into the existing architecture of the Stoleshnikov Lane location.
