Montecolino is participating for the fifth time at EuroShop Düsseldorf, once again confirming its presence at one of the most important international events for the worlds of retail, visual merchandising and exhibition design. In this context, the Brescia-based company presents its solutions for retail interiors, shopfitting, window display and exhibition design to a global audience.: different fields united by an increasing demand for versatile, sustainable and innovative products.

International presence and exhibition positioning
As usual, Montecolino will be present in Hall 1 (Stand D47), dedicated to exhibition design. This choice is consistent with the brand’s international positioning, although it also involves some strategic considerations.
«We have decided, as always, to exhibit in the hall dedicated to exhibition design because it best represents us internationally and hosts most of our international partners», says CEO Nico Fontana. «However, this decision is not taken lightly, because halls more oriented toward retail interiors could also accommodate us perfectly».
The stand: circularity, innovation and scenic installations
The stand will focus strongly on both new products and the company’s iconic solutions. The structure will develop around a rounded form covered with printed block-out fabric, produced with a 5-metre roll-to-roll Dust printer. This design symbolically recalls the concept of circularity, which has always been central to Montecolino’s production philosophy.
At the centre of the exhibition space a striking 3D element will stand out: Green Kong, the company’s mascot and ambassador of sustainability. Created internally using a 7-axis robot that sculpts polystyrene, then decorated by the company’s artists and transformed into a lightweight scenic installation, the gorilla will overlook the stand from a swing, observing the entire hall.
Beneath this scenographic installation there will be a dedicated test area showcasing solutions for installing rigid panels and fabrics on aluminium frames. Highly innovative systems designed to allow material recovery at the end of their life cycle, developed for exhibition environments but also particularly relevant for retail interiors.
«These are highly innovative solutions that we prefer not to reveal in advance», Fontana continues, «because we want visitors to discover and experience them directly at the stand».
Materials, printing technologies and product research
Among the highlights, the products that have made Montecolino internationally recognised will also be on display.: needle-punched and tufted carpets, PVC flooring and fire-rated synthetic grasses, designed for use in public environments such as trade fairs and commercial spaces.

In addition, special attention will be given to the printing sector, with collections of rigid and flexible materials printed using UV, latex and sublimation technologies. Among the highlights are the Wèp panels, produced from recycled carpet and themselves fully recyclable: an innovation first introduced during the previous edition of EuroShop.
The offer is completed by 3D elements produced using additive and subtractive techniques: 3D printing, 7-axis robotic carving, hot-wire cutting and vacuum forming. A distinctive feature of the Topcolor division, acquired three years ago during the previous EuroShop edition.
Service and sustainability as distinctive values
Finally, and perhaps most distinctive of all, is the service: a value that differentiates Montecolino from its competitors and translates into turnkey solutions, including professional installation, removal and material recycling.
As a result, recycling has made Montecolino a recognised benchmark in recent years., appreciated and often imitated internationally.
