Montecolino approaches hospitality interior design through a bespoke perspective, translating each project vision into spaces that express a distinctive style, atmosphere and identity.
Every project develops through a tailored process in which materials, colours, textures and details come together to shape a specific design language. For hotels, restaurants, spas and other hospitality environments, Montecolino brings its expertise to the creation of bespoke carpets, rugs and textile solutions, developed in response to the architecture and interior concept.
Adding another dimension to this offering is Klamoo, a Montecolino Group brand specialising in wallpapers and wallcoverings. Graphics, textures and finishes broaden the creative possibilities of the project, turning walls into surfaces that define and enhance the interior.
Alongside Klamoo, Topcolor, the Group’s digital printing company, completes the project with custom decorative and design solutions. Artworks, 3D structures, design elements, signs and signage are made to measure, combining different materials, finishes and technologies.
From canvas prints to more elaborate pieces featuring special finishes and resin applications, every element is designed to integrate into the interior and interact with the overall concept.
It is through the dialogue between these elements that a space gains depth and personality. Floors, walls, images and volumes connect and complement one another, creating a balanced composition in which carpets, rugs, wallpapers, wallcoverings and two- and three-dimensional decorative elements work together to define the atmosphere.
For the Montecolino Group, hospitality means translating a concept into a harmonious interior language, where every element contributes to the overall style and helps make a space unique, recognisable and memorable.
Because an interior should not simply be beautiful to look at. It should leave an impression, create an emotion and become an experience.
From concept to surface, a single partner
Working with a single partner simplifies the process and helps achieve a more effective result. Montecolino, Klamoo and Topcolor start from the concept and coordinate the different components of the project, bringing together expertise, solutions and customisation.
This approach makes it possible to manage the project across different levels, from surfaces and decorative elements to the details that define the identity of the space, with the aim of translating a creative vision into a coherent and complete environment.
An image can become an environment
Even before it is seen, an environment is perceived.
In the colour of a wall, the texture of a carpet, the pattern of a rug, but also in an artwork, the presence of a three-dimensional element or a decorative detail. These are the elements that establish the rhythm of a space and shape the experience of those who inhabit it.
In hospitality design, every detail can become part of the narrative: from lobbies and corridors to guest rooms and conference spaces, as well as wellness and dining areas.
An image, a texture or a pattern inspired by nature or the local context can become the starting point for an entire decorative concept. Through customisation, Montecolino, Klamoo and Topcolor translate these inspirations into carpets, rugs, wallpapers, wallcoverings, artworks, decorative pieces and three-dimensional elements that interact with one another to create a distinctive identity.
Lobby: where identity begins

First impressions are shaped by the whole environment. From the moment guests enter, a hotel can communicate its style and establish a distinctive identity.
In this lobby, Klamoo wallpaper defines the wall with a rich, sophisticated floral motif, while the bespoke round rug echoes the same visual language at floor level.
The pattern becomes a connecting element between different surfaces, creating a harmonious visual dialogue. The rug is not simply a decorative feature, but part of a coordinated design conceived to connect forms and imagery and give greater visual strength to the interior.
The project is completed by a three-dimensional decorative side table, which can be produced by Topcolor. Its warm, tactile tones complement the surrounding interior, adding another layer of customisation and contributing to the overall compositional balance.
Customisation thus becomes a design tool: an idea is interpreted, adapted and applied across different surfaces until it develops into a distinctive atmosphere.
Guest room: bringing identity into a private space

In the guest room, hospitality design enters the most intimate dimension of the experience.
The botanical pattern of the Klamoo wallpaper introduces a reference to nature, with soft tones and a tactile visual quality that help create an elegant, intimate and calming atmosphere.
The coordinated carpet picks up the colours of the scheme while adding warmth and comfort, creating continuity between the different surfaces.
Because a hotel room is more than simply a place to stay. It is a space where guests can rediscover their own time, slow down and feel at home.
Here, customisation becomes emotion: the aim is to design a space that is not only beautiful to look at, but also makes those who experience it feel at ease.
Conference hall: where design meets performance

In a conference hall, aesthetics and performance need to coexist. Comfort, acoustics, resistance to intensive use and design consistency become essential in transforming a functional space into an environment that can both welcome guests and communicate identity.
In this project, Montecolino SDN carpet and Klamoo bespoke wallpaper interact through a shared visual language.
Designed for high-traffic environments, the SDN carpet provides high levels of durability, ease of maintenance and sound absorption, contributing to guest comfort during meetings, conferences and events.
On the walls, Klamoo’s decorative graphics introduce depth and personality, complementing the architecture without overpowering it.
The result is a contemporary, coordinated environment in which floor and wall contribute to the same design vision: functionality, comfort and aesthetic research become part of a single space.
Corridor: the value of continuity

In hospitality design, circulation areas also contribute to the overall experience. A corridor is therefore more than simply a connecting space: it forms an integral part of the hotel’s identity, where materials, colours and details work together to create a coherent atmosphere.
In this project, Montecolino carpet, Klamoo wallpaper and Topcolor bespoke artworks interact through a minimalist, contemporary language defined by neutral tones, refined textures and understated graphic elements.
The botanical textures of the wallpaper emerge subtly across the walls, while the artworks echo their character through abstract compositions and a carefully balanced colour palette. Here, customisation becomes a genuine design tool: Topcolor creates bespoke artworks and decorative elements, transforming images, photographs, graphics and subjects supplied by the designer into features that integrate with the architecture.
The available solutions include canvas artworks with internal wooden frames and tensioned-fabric systems, produced with a perimeter PVC edge that secures the fabric to the frame, ensuring a perfectly taut surface and a clean appearance without a conventional frame.
This solution is particularly suited to hospitality environments, where customised formats, images and finishes make it possible to create decorative elements coordinated with the concept and identity of the hotel.
The carpet guides the route through a welcoming surface, contributing to acoustic comfort and visual continuity. The result is an environment in which every element interacts with the others: from wallcoverings to decoration, from imagery to materiality, through to the details that define the identity of the space.
Because the quality of a hotel can also be recognised in its attention to detail and in its ability to transform every journey — even the apparently simplest one — into part of a coherent, distinctive and bespoke experience.
Spa: when atmosphere becomes experience

In the spa, the design takes on a different rhythm. Here, Klamoo wallpaper becomes the focal point, transforming the wall into an immersive feature.
Inspired by an Oriental aesthetic, the design depicts flowering branches and small birds within a delicate, harmonious composition, evoking nature and Japanese tradition.
The wall becomes a window onto an imaginary landscape, while reflections on the water amplify the sense of depth and lightness.
The space becomes an experience capable of transporting guests away from everyday life through a balance of design, nature and emotion.
Because wellbeing is also shaped by the environment around us. And when a surface can tell a story, a space dedicated to relaxation can become something more: a place to pause, drift away and dream.
