Montecolino, Klamoo and Topcolor begin a new communication journey in the pages of AN Shopfitting Magazine. This strategic decision stems from the desire to present themselves to the retail market as an integrated group, capable of offering complete solutions for the point of sale: from flooring to decorative surfaces, from digital printing to retail installations.
We interviewed them to gain deeper insight into the identity, vision and objectives behind this joint presence.
An integrated communication strategy for the retail market
Interview with the Montecolino – Klamoo – Topcolor Group
Let’s start with today: why did you choose to communicate together in AN Shopfitting Magazine?
Over the years we have worked extensively in the retail sector, but always separately: Montecolino as a supplier of surfaces and flooring, Klamoo as a specialist in wallpaper and decorative carpets, and Topcolor in digital printing and visual installations.
In reality, we are one single group with complementary expertise. Presenting ourselves together means enhancing this union and offering the market a complete and coherent supply chain, capable of supporting the retail space in all its aesthetic, functional and communication needs.
Montecolino’s role in contemporary shopfitting
Montecolino is the historic company of the group. What is its role in today’s retail design?
Founded in 1971, we have a strong tradition in the production of flooring and surfaces. For the shopfitting sector, we provide carpets, rugs, entrance mats, PVC flooring and artificial grass, with solutions designed to combine aesthetics, durability and fast installation.
We collaborate with fashion, food and design brands, where every detail – including the floor – contributes to the overall customer experience.

Klamoo: customization and visual identity
Klamoo is the youngest company in the group. What makes it distinctive?
Klamoo was established in 2022 from the meeting between designer Manuel Mandelli and Montecolino’s manufacturing know-how.
Our strength lies in customization: wallpaper and decorated carpets tailored to the needs of the retail space, both in terms of graphics and dimensions.
We aim to bring a more creative and identity-driven dimension into retail, with collections that combine style, practicality and short production lead times.

Topcolor: digital printing and retail installations
Topcolor further expands the range. What services does it provide?
Established in 1972, we specialize in small and large format digital printing, 3D element production, window graphics application and professional photographic development, activities strengthened through a recent partnership with Fujifilm Italia.
We support brands and retailers from design to installation, directly on site.

An integrated proposal for the retail world
What is the added value of your integrated proposal for the retail sector?
Our strength lies in offering complete and coordinated solutions that combine:
- flooring and functional surfaces (Montecolino)
- decoration and visual identity (Klamoo)
- communication, printing and retail installations (Topcolor)
A key aspect is the possibility for clients to rely on a single point of contact for all these components. This approach simplifies workflow and communication, especially in complex projects requiring coordination among multiple solutions and smooth management between design, production and installation.
All this comes with strong attention to sustainability, material quality and full process control, including manufacturing. We are able to respond to the needs of both single stores and large retail chains, thanks to a versatile structure and experience developed with leading fashion, food and design brands.
Vision, sustainability and commitment to the circular economy
What message would you like to convey to industry professionals through AN Shopfitting Magazine?
That today we are a single, reliable and comprehensive partner.
We do not simply provide products, but integrated solutions that combine elegance, practicality and technical expertise, enriched by a bespoke service designed to translate each brand’s identity into a tailor-made project. Our goal is to support retailers in creating environments that are attractive, functional and distinctive, from concept to installation.
At the same time, we want to highlight the group’s commitment to sustainability and material circularity. We are actively involved in initiatives and projects dedicated to the circular economy, such as the WEP program, the development of 3D elements made from recycled carpet and the Recycling Carpet system, which promotes responsible resource use throughout the entire production cycle.
