3D Wall System is a modular system designed to integrate wall cladding, furniture and product display within retail interiors. Designed by Eugenio Ferrante and produced and distributed by Metalika srl, part of the Pavanello srl group, the system combines three-dimensional panels with configurable metal structures to create different display solutions.
One of the defining characteristics of the project is the possibility of using the same components not only to create equipped walls, but also on ceilings, window display backdrops, checkout counters, bar counters and back-bar areas, establishing a relationship between architectural surfaces, furniture and product presentation.

A system combining surfaces and display
3D Wall System brings together wall cladding and display structures through a series of components that can be combined according to the configuration and requirements of the retail space.
The metal structures can be installed directly onto the system’s panels or applied to conventional walls. The uprights provide the supporting framework for shelves, hanging rails and other accessories, allowing product displays to be reconfigured without redesigning the entire installation.
This modular approach makes the system suitable for different retail applications, from equipped walls to display structures for clothing, accessories and other product categories.
Interchangeable panels and custom finishes
The display structures are complemented by a system of moulded ABS panels, developed to create three-dimensional surfaces and decorative compositions. The panels can feature different patterns and configurations or be produced according to a custom design.
Their modular construction allows individual elements to be replaced, making it possible to modify the appearance of the surface over time. Different finishes are also available: the panels can be flocked or velvet-finished, painted or metallised, extending the range of possible applications within different interior concepts and material palettes.
The system can also incorporate sound-absorbing and acoustic materials, combining the visual character of the surface with specific acoustic properties.

Configurable structures for shelves and hanging rails
The metal structures provide the functional framework of 3D Wall System. Uprights can accommodate different accessories for shelves and hanging rails, allowing merchandise to be organised through both vertical and horizontal configurations.
The relationship between the metal framework and the panels also allows display elements to be combined with modular surfaces in different colours and finishes. Wall and display equipment can therefore be conceived as components of the same system rather than as independent elements.
Lighting integrated into the display system
LED lighting can be incorporated directly into the display components, combining structural and lighting functions within the uprights.
Among the components developed for 3D Wall System, Versus Led is a double-sided upright incorporating 12 recessed LED profiles and a rear LED strip. Lighting thus becomes part of the display structure itself, illuminating merchandise and surrounding surfaces without requiring a separate lighting element.
A modular system for configuring retail space
3D Wall System combines panels, metal structures, display accessories and lighting within a single modular solution. The possibility of replacing and reconfiguring individual components allows walls and display equipment to adapt to changing merchandising requirements.
The project approaches modular retail furniture as a system capable of simultaneously defining surfaces, product presentation and lighting, offering different configurations without treating wall cladding and display equipment as separate components.
