The concept developed by MRZarchitetti for Gaudì introduces a retail environment inspired by neo-brutalist architecture, where contrasting materials define the identity of the space. Exposed concrete, natural finishes and reflective surfaces are combined to create an interior centred on texture, balance and material expression.

A concept inspired by neo-brutalism
The project is built around exposed concrete walls, which establish the architectural character of the interior.
Natural materials and refined finishes are introduced against this raw backdrop, creating a composition where contrasting textures and surfaces coexist within a carefully balanced environment.
The result is a retail space in which each material contributes to the overall identity of the store through a contemporary architectural language.

Materials and contrasts shape the interior
Material contrast is the defining feature of the project.
Solid wood partitions emphasise the area dedicated to the denim collection, while taffeta fabrics introduce a softer textile element that complements the exposed concrete surfaces.
One of the project’s most distinctive materials is Sahara Black Gold marble, which adds a natural component to the interior composition. Polished steel elements reinforce the contemporary character of the space, creating a dialogue between organic and industrial finishes.
The combination of matte and reflective surfaces, together with natural and metallic materials, generates a balanced interior with a strong visual identity.

A concept developed for fashion retail
Every architectural element has been designed in relation to the others, maintaining consistency between materials, colours and geometries throughout the space.
The concept was developed for the Gaudì fashion brand and applied to its retail format, including the two stores dedicated to fashion and accessories located inside BurJuman Mall in Dubai.
