Mango flagship store in London introduces the Mediterranean store concept on Oxford Street

MANGO opens a new flagship store in London

Mango opens a new flagship store in London at 223-235 Oxford Street, one of the world’s busiest shopping streets. The store relocates the previous flagship, positioned in adjoining premises, to a new space with a layout more suited to the Mediterranean-inspired concept that Mango has begun to implement across its stores.

The project is conceived as a functional, relaxed and welcoming retail environment that improves the relationship between customers and store staff. The layout also supports a clearer distribution of collections and a more fluid customer journey across the store.

The London flagship store introduces Mango’s Mediterranean concept in the United Kingdom

The London flagship is the first Mango store in the United Kingdom to feature the brand’s new Mediterranean store concept. The design incorporates elements associated with Mediterranean style and culture in order to express the essence of the brand through space, materials and atmosphere.

Warm tones and neutral colour palettes define the interior language. These are combined with traditional, artisanal, sustainable and natural materials, creating a retail environment that feels more relaxed and approachable.

The three-floor layout organizes Woman, Man and Kids collections across 1,400 square meters

The new store extends across 1,400 square meters and is arranged over three floors. The layout brings together Mango’s Woman, Man and Kids lines, allowing the brand to present its collections within a clearer and more structured retail environment.

The new premises support a more efficient organization of the different product categories. The store layout is designed to improve orientation, collection visibility and the overall shopping experience.

Sustainable materials and energy efficiency shape the new store concept

Sustainability, energy efficiency and architectural integration within the setting are key elements of the new Mango store concept. The London flagship incorporates energy-efficient lighting and temperature control systems as part of its design and construction strategy.

The project also includes sustainable materials such as natural paints. These choices support the brand’s wider approach to store design, where material selection and environmental performance contribute to the identity of the retail space.

Customer service and click and collect areas support an omnichannel retail experience

The London flagship includes a dedicated area for customer assistance and advice. In this space, customers can discuss preferences, opinions and expectations with store staff, while also resolving questions that may arise during the shopping experience.

As part of Mango’s commitment to omnichannel retailing, the store also features an area dedicated to click and collect services. This function connects the physical store with the brand’s digital shopping experience.

The Oxford Street opening strengthens Mango’s presence in the United Kingdom

The opening brings the total number of Mango stores in the United Kingdom to 43. It follows the recent opening of a new store in Edinburgh and confirms the brand’s continued development in the UK market.

Mango also plans five further store openings across the country over the following 12 months. The Oxford Street flagship therefore represents both a new retail concept for the United Kingdom and a further step in the brand’s national expansion strategy.
