Linear lighting for retail has become one of the most effective solutions for ensuring uniformity, visual control and product enhancement within commercial spaces. The Lintra range by Ansorg fits within this context as a system specifically developed to meet the needs of contemporary retail environments, from shelving aisles to large-format stores.
Thanks to its directional beam characteristics, the system delivers more light onto products compared to traditional continuous linear lighting solutions. This approach moves beyond uniform diffuse lighting, introducing a clearer visual hierarchy within the retail space. The LED optical system also allows uniform vertical illumination of shelving surfaces up to three meters high, improving product visibility and readability.
Track-mounted luminaires can be positioned with high flexibility, even at intervals of up to three meters, without requiring a continuous track system. This enables easy integration of additional elements such as spotlights or audio components, while maintaining a configuration that can adapt over time. The reduced number of fixtures also contributes to improved efficiency in terms of both energy consumption and material use.
The system features linear optics with different beam distributions designed to adapt to a wide range of architectural conditions. Even with installation heights between three and four meters and varying aisle widths, it ensures consistent and controlled light distribution across vertical surfaces.
Configurations and light distribution options
The system is available in different configurations, designed to adapt to various project conditions and retail layouts.
Lintra LLT (length 1.40 m): designed for installation along the aisle, it offers three different light distributions tailored to narrow, medium and wide aisle zones. Compared to traditional double and asymmetric light distributions commonly used in retail, these optics provide greater light concentration on products, improving the illumination of shelving surfaces. Available beam types include Double Narrow Beam (DNB), Double Medium Beam (DMB) and Double Wide Beam (DWB).
Lintra LMT (length 0.6 m): a more compact solution that can be installed both longitudinally and transversely along the track. It combines dual-row linear optics capable of effectively illuminating both standard and extra-wide aisle areas. This configuration is particularly suitable for flexible layouts, such as end caps or evolving shelving geometries. It is also available with Double Narrow Beam (DNB), Double Medium Beam (DMB) and Double Wide Beam (DWB).
