In this collection, the fashion house’s inimitable style is transformed into a new concept of natural luxury with a preference for organic forms and glossy surfaces and special focus on colour.
The luminous transparencies of crystals, the sinuous patterns of onyxes and the intense, translucent hues of quartzites and semi-precious stones provide the inspiration for the eight colours of Gemstone, an evocative exploration of the rarest materials shaped by the forces of nature over millions of years: Imperial Crystal, Mystery Black, Onyx Sky, Onyx Green, Cristallo Rosa, Cristallo Miele, Ametista and Diamante.
The richly patterned and gorgeously coloured surfaces come in a range of large sizes up to 120×280 cm, all with a lux finish and a 6 mm thickness ideal for creating unique floors and feature walls. Gemstone is ideal for use in upscale residential spaces as well as in contract, hospitality and luxury hotel applications.
The range includes three 9 mm thick decorative surfaces: Megabarocco, Foulard and Shards. These articles take advantage of the innovative 3D tech technology which allows the application of thick materials in perfect correspondence with the underlying graphics, creating fine bas-relief effects with extraordinary sensory value.
The Gemstone collection provides the opportunity to select some of Versace’s most distinctive patterns and reproduce them on large slabs with elegant tone-ontone lustred glazes.
