After the success of its flagship store in Barcelona, ALOHAS opens a new flagship store in Madrid, once again designed by Clap Studio. Located on Claudio Coello Street, in the heart of the upscale Salamanca district, this new space brings the brand’s volcanic imaginary to the capital. The concept reinterprets the physical store as an immersive and symbolic landscape, where each architectural element contributes to telling a story aligned with the brand’s values: boldness, sustainability, and conscious design.
A compact and symbolic ALOHAS flagship store in Madrid
The ALOHAS flagship store in Madrid draws inspiration from the primal power of volcanoes—symbols of energy, transformation, and renewal. At the center of the compact retail space stands a striking stepped metallic pyramid, aligned with a mirrored wall that completes the structure through optical illusion. This play on reflections visually expands the interior and reinforces a monumental and almost museographic perception.
The project merges matter and imagination, with rough, textured walls that evoke solidified lava and generate a tactile, almost primitive atmosphere. The use of satin-finished metal and integrated linear lighting defines the space with contemporary sophistication.
A fragment of volcanic terrain in the city
More than just a retail outlet, the ALOHAS flagship store in Madrid is conceived as a fragment of volcanic terrain embedded in the urban fabric. Every detail—from the textured wall finishes to the minimal furnishings—conveys a narrative of strength and transformation. The store unfolds as a three-dimensional story that guides visitors through a sensory experience rooted in materials, forms, and meaning. The result is a retail space with strong visual and conceptual impact, successfully bridging brand identity with innovative retail design.
