Rimani lights up Ottica Gallery in Turin

Vetrine Ottica Gallery Torino con illuminazione progettata da Rimani

Rimani lights up Ottica Gallery in Turin with a project developed in collaboration with architect Benedetta Veglia. The intervention introduces an innovative and sustainable lighting system designed to highlight the displayed eyewear while transforming the store into a refined and functional environment.

Design concept and objectives

The concept was based on the idea of integrating a recessed ceiling solution into a sustainable setup made with reusable, low-impact materials. The main goal was to create a diffuse, adjustable, and glare-free light that enhances details without revealing the source itself. The result is an elegant atmosphere aligned with the store’s identity and its display requirements.

To meet the technical requirements, the Solar60 recessed luminaire was selected, a fully hidden solution derived from the Solar collection. This single-source LED projector provides natural light across the entire visible spectrum, with excellent color rendering, vibrant whites, and uniform beams. Its 3000K warm color temperature creates a comfortable effect, while the primary optic features a central macula that shields the source and reduces glare. Thanks to interchangeable magnetic optics, the projection adapts precisely to different frame formats and display surfaces. It is particularly suited to retail design.

Sustainable lighting solutions for retail

The project replaced the previous halogen and discharge systems with Solar60 LED fixtures, cutting energy consumption by 70%. As a result, the store benefits from major efficiency gains without compromising visual quality. Moreover, the controlled, glare-free lighting enhances the eyewear on display with clarity, improving both detail visibility and customer comfort.

A result combining design and performance

The adopted solution blends design, energy efficiency, and high-level lighting performance. This approach highlights every detail of Ottica Gallery with precise, delicate illumination, meeting sustainability targets while elevating product presentation. Rimani thus confirms its role as a reference in advanced lighting solutions, responding effectively to the requirements of architect Veglia with an innovative balance of aesthetics, technology, and efficiency.
