Interzum Forum Italy 2026: the furniture and design supply chain meets in Bergamo on 4 and 5 June

interzum forum italy 2026

On 4 and 5 June 2026, companies, designers, industrial partners and representatives of the main production districts will meet in Bergamo for interzum forum italy 2026, an event dedicated to the furniture supply chain, materials and technologies for design. The event takes place at a strategic moment for the sector, immediately after Salone del Mobile, offering a concrete opportunity to discuss the productive, logistical and collaborative transformations that are redefining the Italian design ecosystem.

With more than 230 exhibitors from 24 countries, over 25 talks and more than 40 speakers at the Trend Stage, together with more than 15 keynote speakers at Surface in Motion Italia, the event confirms its role as a platform for dialogue between industry, design and technological innovation.

Materials, components and technologies for the furniture supply chain

interzum forum italy brings the design debate back to its productive and industrial context, exploring topics related to materials, technologies, manufacturing processes, supply chain and economic scenarios. The focus is on increasingly integrated and resilient models, with growing attention to innovation and sustainability.

Among the companies taking part in the second edition are Albrecht Baeumer, Asa Plastici, Brighi Tecnologie, Boyteks, Bock, Cofemo, Gruppo Bonomi Pattini, Gruppo Grassi, Kesseboehmer Italia, Linak Italia, L&S Italia, Marcegaglia Specialities, Motion Italia, Simalfa, Stellini Textile, Ternoscorrevoli and Top Linea.

The event concentrates, over two days, an exhibition and conference format dedicated to the Function&Components, Materials&Nature and Textile&Machinery sectors, integrating technical insights, case studies and meetings with national and international experts.

Trend Stage and Surface in Motion Italia: the conference programme

The conference programme addresses the main topics in subcontracting for design and furniture, involving companies, material producers, general contractors, design studios and interior designers.

The talks analyse supply chain transformations and the connections between furniture and increasingly transversal sectors, from contract to recreational vehicles, through to yachting and transportation design.

Thomas Rosolia, CEO of Koelnmesse Italia, underlines how the programme has been developed together with companies in the supply chain to offer strategic tools and analyses useful for operational and medium-term business decisions.

Interzum Forum Italy Award 2026 and opening conference

The opening of the event will host the interzum forum italy award 2026 ceremony, an award dedicated to the technical aspects of the supply chain and to the most relevant and sustainable innovations presented by the participating companies.

The opening ceremony on the Trend Stage will be followed by a conference chaired by Edi Snaidero, President of EFIC (European Furniture Industries Confederation), together with Volker Irle, Managing Director of AMK (The Association of Modern Kitchen), Federica Dallanoce, President of ADACI, Alessandra Tracogna, Partner and Senior Expert at CSIL, and Jörg Buck, Managing Director of the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce.

Installations and design applications for contemporary design

Alongside the exhibition areas, interzum forum italy will host special event areas where installations developed in collaboration with design companies will be presented. These spaces show concrete applications of materials, components and technologies within furniture solutions and curated scenographies.

The installations make it possible to observe how technical innovation, material research and design translate into real applications for the interior and product design sectors.

Partnerships and the international network of the event

The event is developed through an extensive network of collaborations with national and international Knowledge Partners, involved in the creation of talks and specialist insights.

Partners include AIPI, AIPEF, EBIA, NBF, EFIC, CSIL, CATAS, the AHK research centre, the Digital Innovation Observatories of the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano and POLI.Design.
