US’ PRIME 1885 is a steakhouse concept developed by Sansheng Future Group. The brand focuses on a refined approach to Western cuisine, combining precise ingredient sourcing, culinary techniques and attentive service. In 2022 the concept evolved into a new brand identity, introducing US’ PRIME 1885 as a contemporary Chinese steakhouse experience.

The restaurant interior plays a key role in communicating the brand’s philosophy even before the culinary experience begins. Inspired by the cultural identity of the brand, the design combines Oriental influences with contemporary aesthetics, creating a balanced spatial language.
The first US’ PRIME 1885 restaurant in Wuxi
The first restaurant of the brand is located in Wuxi, on the ground floor of the MixC commercial complex, overlooking Taihu Lake and surrounded by a relaxed leisure environment.
Entrance and outdoor dining area
The entrance is positioned on the outdoor platform of the shopping mall and opens toward the lake landscape. An outdoor dining area extends the restaurant experience into the public realm, creating a street-front atmosphere that enhances the connection with the surrounding urban space.

Reception foyer and service bar
The reception foyer revolves around a central service bar that integrates multiple functions including reception, wet bar, cashier and product display for wine and meat. This multifunctional element organizes the circulation of the space and establishes the first visual impression for guests.

Open dining area
The open dining area represents the main operational space of the restaurant. Its layout connects visually with the outdoor area while maintaining a comfortable level of privacy through the use of functional cabinets and spatial partitions.

Private dining rooms
Private dining rooms are designed with modular tables that can be combined according to operational needs. The interiors feature red screens and green wall artworks, balancing Eastern and Western cultural references within the restaurant atmosphere.

A balance between cuisine and cultural identity
The project explores the idea of a Chinese steakhouse that blends Western culinary culture with local spatial traditions. Rather than simply reproducing a Western restaurant model, the design integrates Chinese cultural references to create a distinctive dining experience.
