For more than a century, Montblanc has been known for its refined collections of writing instruments, watches, jewelry and leather goods. With its new concept store, the Maison introduces a retail space defined by a dynamic and elegant atmosphere, fully aligned with the brand’s identity.
The project belongs to the field of contemporary retail design, where customer experience is shaped through an integrated composition of materials, light and brand storytelling.

A retail concept between craftsmanship and contemporary design
Balancing contemporary design and classic elegance, pioneering spirit and artisanal tradition, the boutique offers a multisensory experience that guides visitors through the Montblanc universe.
“Inspired by the Maison’s constant pursuit of functional and aesthetic innovation, our new retail space reflects Montblanc’s current essence and its vision of the future, always directed toward exploring new technological and design frontiers,” said Jérôme Lambert, CEO of Montblanc International.

Designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, the new retail space combines elegance and restraint through a calibrated use of black, white and wood, enhancing the intrinsic value of each product.

Visual identity and brand storytelling in the retail space
Inside the boutique, the design develops around three main themes connected to the Maison’s heritage. Cursive writing, an iconic element associated with Montblanc fountain pens, becomes the starting point for the formal language of the space, translated into fluid lines and sinuous surfaces.
The Montblanc emblem, inspired by the snow-capped peak of Mont Blanc, is paired with ink shades that evoke vitality, creativity and a constant drive toward innovation. Large digital screens animate an artistic ink flow, adding a dynamic and immersive layer to the spatial narrative.

Materials and furniture in the Montblanc concept store
The third defining element of the project is craftsmanship, a value deeply rooted in the Maison’s history. This aspect is expressed through the interior architecture and dark wood furnishings, recalling the materials and techniques used in Montblanc’s workshops.
Material quality and construction precision contribute to a coherent retail environment in which every element supports product presentation and reinforces brand identity.
Customer experience and retail space organization
From the entrance, the layout invites visitors to explore the brand’s history through dedicated areas for different product categories. The customer is involved in an interactive experience that encourages discovery and deeper engagement with the collections.
The triangular Gallery table highlights Montblanc’s position in fine watchmaking, while the Manufacture Bar and the Leather Atelier create dedicated spaces for interaction, writing trials and material exploration.
The journey concludes in the Collectors Lounge, dedicated to limited editions and personalization services, strengthening the relationship between product, craftsmanship and brand identity.
