With Nest, Fap Ceramiche develops a porcelain stoneware flooring collection that interprets the look of wood through a range of tones, formats and compositions designed for residential, commercial and hospitality applications.
The collection builds its identity around the reproduction of wood grain and tonal variations, combining them with the technical properties of ceramic surfaces. The palette includes five matt finishes — Natural, Oak, Maple, Brown and Silver — offering a spectrum that ranges from warmer shades to more neutral tones.

Two formats for different laying patterns
Nest is available in the 20×120 cm Doga format, which recalls the proportions of traditional timber planks, and in the 7.5×45 cm Chevron format, designed to create geometric compositions through a chevron laying pattern.
The two formats allow the same collection to be used in different configurations, ranging from the linear continuity of planks to surfaces defined by a more pronounced geometric rhythm.
Tratti, Slash and Cube: three mosaic interpretations
The collection also includes three mosaic solutions that extend the compositional possibilities of the surface.
Tratti uses slender strips to create a linear texture; Slash combines small tiles with apparently irregular geometries; while Cube, based on hexagonal elements, generates a three-dimensional pattern built around the perception of volumes and perspectives.
These configurations can be combined with the main surfaces to differentiate specific areas or introduce variations within the overall interior scheme.
Surfaces for indoor and outdoor applications
Nest is designed for applications ranging from residential and commercial interiors to hospitality spaces. The collection is available with an indoor surface finish and in the Out version with R11 finish, intended for outdoor applications.
The continuity of the range therefore makes it possible to extend the same material language across spaces with different functional requirements.
Skirting tiles and stair elements complete the collection, allowing the ceramic system to be extended to architectural details and finishing elements.

The look of wood through ceramic surfaces
With Nest, the visual character of wood is translated into a ceramic surface through a collection combining different tones, laying geometries and decorative solutions.
From the Doga format and Chevron pattern to the Tratti, Slash and Cube mosaics, the collection makes it possible to create surfaces with different rhythms and configurations while maintaining the visual continuity of wood-effect finishes and the characteristics of porcelain stoneware.
