Darry Ring Jewellery Flagship in Beijing by ST Design

progetto gioielleria Darry Ring ST Design Stefano Tordiglione

Located on Wangfujing Street in Beijing, the Darry Ring Jewellery Flagship by Studio Stefano Tordiglione Design (ST Design) develops its interior around the circle as both a spatial and symbolic element.

Covering 250 sqm, the store translates the jewellery brand’s identity into an environment dominated by curved geometries, soft lighting and a restrained material palette. The concept draws on Darry Ring’s “The One & Only” positioning, using the circular form as a reference to the engagement ring and to ideas of union, continuity and commitment.

The circle as a design language

Rather than treating the circle as a decorative motif, ST Design extends its geometry throughout the interior. Ring-shaped lights suspended from the ceiling create a sequence of luminous elements above the retail space, while their circular shadows reinforce the same geometry across the floor.

The display system follows this principle through semi-circular glass showcases and elliptical wall displays. The repetition of curved forms establishes a coherent visual language and provides an alternative to the conventional rectilinear fixtures commonly used in jewellery retail.

A softer approach to jewellery display

The interior is defined by a minimal palette centred on pearl-white tones, creating a neutral background for the jewellery collections.

Within this setting, the display cases become part of the architecture rather than isolated pieces of furniture. Their curved profiles guide movement through the store while maintaining visual continuity between the different areas.

The VIP area develops the concept further through an organic layout surrounded by translucent glass panels decorated with silhouettes of couples. Elliptical showcases integrated into the walls provide additional display surfaces while preserving the more intimate character of the space.

Custom furniture and brand identity

Alongside the circular motif, the designers also draw on the DR monogram as a graphic and structural element.

The initials appear on the shopfront, while custom-designed display tables and stools feature supports shaped around the letter “D”. Branding is therefore incorporated into the furniture itself, extending the visual identity of Darry Ring beyond conventional signage.

A photographic wall dedicated to customers introduces another layer to the interior, connecting the physical environment with the personal stories associated with the brand.

Through the repetition of circular geometries, integrated lighting and bespoke display elements, ST Design creates a jewellery store in which brand identity becomes part of the spatial organisation. The circle moves from symbol to architectural device, defining displays, lighting and customer areas throughout the flagship.
