Point G Boutique in Montreal by TUX Agency

Progetto di interior design per la Pasticceria POINT G di Montreal

In Montreal, TUX Agency developed the interior concept for Point G, translating the brand’s identity and its colourful macarons into a 90 sqm retail environment defined by curved geometries, bright pink tones and carefully integrated product displays.

Located on Mont-Royal Avenue, the boutique combines retail, production and coffee tasting within a compact space, using the product itself as the starting point for the interior language.

A retail concept inspired by the macaron

The interior draws directly on the shape and colourful character of the macaron. Bright shades of pink, rounded geometries and circular elements establish the visual identity of the space, while the colourful products stand out against the predominantly white display counters.

The compact 90 sqm layout is organised to give the products a strong visual presence while maintaining clear circulation through the boutique. Gradients, curved forms and repeated circular motifs provide continuity between architecture, display and brand identity.

A storefront designed for visibility

The experience begins at the storefront, characterised by a fuchsia-pink facade and a golden entrance. The composition maximises the glazed surface and maintains visual continuity between the street and the interior.

Inside, a circular display overlooking the laboratory creates a focal point at the rear of the boutique, establishing a visual connection with the production area and bringing the making of the macarons into the customer experience.

Product display and coffee tasting

The macarons are presented in extensive sequences of colours and flavours, turning the product itself into a significant visual component of the interior. The display design uses repetition, gradients and circular geometries to reinforce this relationship between product and space.

A coffee-tasting corner positioned towards the storefront introduces an additional function within the limited floor area. Its location close to the window increases visibility from the street while creating an active area at the front of the boutique.

The project demonstrates how a relatively small retail space can integrate product display, customer experience and operational requirements within a coherent visual identity. At Point G, the distinctive colours and forms of the macarons become part of the architectural language itself.
