A new chapter for the concept store
Five years after designing the first store, NTYPE studio was commissioned to redesign DressingForFun in Chengdu. The goal was to create a welcoming environment, offering new experiences to residents and customers while preserving a strong urban identity.

Nature and relaxation in the metropolis
The integration of greenery into the facade and interiors created a relaxing atmosphere, standing in sharp contrast with the fast-paced rhythm of the city. The project demonstrates how closeness to nature can transform a retail space into a place of pause and contemplation.
Organic volumes and plays of perspective
The store develops along an L-shaped layout of 19 meters, originally defined by a column grid with spans ranging from 2.7 to 4.2 meters. To add dynamism to this regular framework, NTYPE introduced organic volumes that guide visitors through narrower and wider areas. Carefully placed shaped openings enhance the perception of depth and the spatial complexity of the store.

A bar connecting with the city
The client requested the addition of a bar area designed to connect with the tree-lined street where the store is located. Next to the entrance, the urban furniture was integrated into the facade, with benches and planters ensuring continuity between interior and exterior, inviting both passersby and customers to experience the space in an informal and inclusive way.
