One Plus Partnership designs the Chow Tai Fook jewellery boutique in Beijing

Progetto Gioielleria Chow Tai Fook

The Chow Tai Fook “Jewelria” boutique, designed by One Plus Partnership inside Parkview Green in Beijing, interprets contemporary jewellery retail through artistic installations, handcrafted graphics and immersive display structures. The project is located within a shopping mall known for its strong cultural identity and its extensive collection of artworks and permanent sculptures.

Starting from this context, One Plus Partnership develops a retail space that brings together art, visual merchandising and display function. The jewellery boutique transforms the customer journey into a sensory experience shaped by sculptural forms, decorative textures and recurring graphic elements distributed throughout the interior.

Sculptural installations transform jewellery displays into narrative elements

The boutique concept is based on the integration of art and commercial function. For the project, custom sculptures are created as jewellery displays and are developed from themes connected to the human senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste and perception.

These elements introduce a narrative dimension into the retail space, moving beyond the traditional display approach often associated with jewellery stores. The installations become spatial devices that guide the visitor experience and build a more immersive relationship with the product.

Handcrafted graphics and custom furniture in the Chow Tai Fook boutique in Beijing

Handcrafted graphics define the visual identity of the interior

One of the central aspects of the project is the widespread use of handcrafted decorative graphics. The graphic language appears on walls, carpets, sofa coverings and display surfaces, generating visual continuity between furniture, architecture and internal circulation.

The intervention uses patterns and textures as spatial orientation elements and as tools for reinforcing the visual identity of the brand. The decorative component therefore takes on a structural role in the organization of the retail experience.

Pop-up display elements integrate shopping, leisure and visual merchandising

Inside the boutique, pop-up elements and installations are integrated with the commercial and recreational functions of the space. These components articulate the internal layout by creating areas dedicated to display, pause and interaction with the product.

The customer journey avoids a traditional linear configuration and instead privileges a sequence of micro-environments that amplify the experiential dimension of the jewellery boutique. Visual merchandising is integrated with the interior architecture and with the artistic components present in the project.

Large glass windows connect the boutique to the artistic identity of Parkview Green

The large glass surfaces allow the boutique to communicate directly with the spaces of Parkview Green, reinforcing the continuity between the store and the architectural context of the shopping mall.

This visual openness helps differentiate the jewellery boutique from traditional luxury stores, introducing a more contemporary and cultural atmosphere. The boutique takes on the character of a hybrid space between retail, artistic installation and exhibition environment.
