Interior design project for Diva Nails in Montréal

ISSADESIGN progetta il negozio DIVA NAILS di Montreal

Diva Nails, located in the heart of Montréal, develops an interior design concept focused on wellbeing and the relationship between beauty spaces and biophilic design. Designed by ISSADESIGN, the salon explores the theme of blooming through materials, curved furniture and spatial solutions conceived to offer an immersive and relaxing experience within the urban context.

The project transforms the nail salon into a space that combines functionality, comfort and visual identity, responding to the needs of contemporary clients looking for flexible beauty services and welcoming environments.

Biophilic concept and brand identity

Brand identity is the starting point of the project. ISSADESIGN creates a space that goes beyond aesthetics, improving the user experience and reinforcing a sense of belonging to the brand.

Inspired by the lotus flower, the interior design establishes a close relationship with nature through colors, flowers and small-scale planting. The biophilic approach also emerges through more subtle choices, including furniture design, lighting and other components selected to support the overall concept.

Beauty layout and functional organization

Due to technical constraints and specific ventilation requirements, the layout is divided into two main areas: one dedicated to nail application and the other to manicure and pedicure services. The reception area defines the transition between the different salon functions.

This organization improves operational comfort, circulation and the quality of the beauty experience, while maintaining a clear reading of the interior layout.

Custom furniture and curved displays

The displays recall the shape of nails through arched structures integrated into the walls. These recessed elements are designed to highlight the wide range of nail polish colors offered by the salon.

Custom curved worktables complete the layout and contribute to the visual continuity of the space, reinforcing the organic language of the interior concept.

Materials, lighting and salon atmosphere

The interior uses a soft palette and tactile surfaces to create a relaxing and immersive atmosphere. Lighting contributes to the perception of the space through integrated and diffused solutions that enhance colors, textures and architectural details.

The project interprets the contemporary nail salon as an experiential environment where design, wellbeing and visual identity become an integral part of the beauty service.
