Shop design is constantly evolving thanks to design studios and the development of increasingly responsible materials for retail interiors.
Following this direction, Krion PORCELANOSA Group presents Koncept Fashion Store together with the Valencian studio Estudi{H}ac, headed by José Manuel Ferrero. The project introduces a new shopfitting concept for fashion retail, where architecture, surfaces and custom furniture define a complete interior experience.
A fashion retail concept based on material continuity
The proposal creates a close relationship between architecture and design through the use of Krion® Lux and Fitwall® materials.
Three arcades are arranged in parallel along the length of the store, generating a dynamic and geometric corridor that gives continuity to the retail interior. Combined with mirrors and neutral tones, this configuration increases the visual perception of spaciousness and reinforces the architectural identity of the space.
Fitwall® decorative panels and textured surfaces
The Fitwall® decorative panels, with their high-relief surfaces, enhance the volumes of the design. Their organic shapes create a strong sense of perspective and envelop the customer through texture, rhythm and depth.
The panels are made of minerals, modified acrylic resin containing 3% recycled PET material, and a finish composed of pigments, enamels or dyes, depending on the model. Through a manual process, even the smallest details are reproduced using different techniques, including machining, ageing, sandblasting and material casting.
This meticulous process allows natural finishes to be perceived both visually and tactilely through shapes, textures and colours.
Easy installation for retail interiors
The complexity of the space is not a limitation for Fitwall®. Its easy transport and assembly, without building work, allow fast and clean installation while adapting to the existing space.
As in any retail project, furniture plays a key role, especially in environments with a constant flow of customers.
Krion® Lux furniture for high-traffic spaces
The furniture made of Krion® Lux integrates into the environment and meets the requirements of the store thanks to the material’s transformation and bending capacity.
Its seamless joints create uniform surfaces, while its high mineral composition provides the resistance needed for high-traffic retail environments. Its almost total non-porosity also contributes to the hygiene of the space.
With Solid Surface Krion® Lux by PORCELANOSA, organic designs can be created and complex projects can be developed. With more than 110 models, some with backlighting, and different finishes, the material allows full customization of the retail interior.
