David Collins Studio has designed an exclusive private space dedicated to male clientele on the second floor of Harrods London, the iconic luxury shopping destination. This space is an extension of the refined environment already created by the studio for the Menswear department, offering an immersive and sophisticated men’s personal shopping experience, in line with the highest standards of high-end retail design.
A Concept Inspired by Luxury Hospitality
The interior design takes inspiration from high-end hospitality, creating an environment that blends elegance, comfort, and ultimate personalization. The design revolves around a warm and welcoming atmosphere, made possible by custom-designed seating, premium fabric finishes, and a mixology bar specifically designed for this exclusive space.
At the heart of the project is the central lounge, where the walls and seating are wrapped in Loro Piana Interiors blue cashmere, contributing to a sensory experience of pure luxury. The meticulously curated lighting enhances the refinement of the furnishings, creating a sophisticated ambiance perfect for an exclusive shopping experience.

Fine Materials and a Sophisticated Color Palette
The selection of materials emphasizes artisanal quality and design excellence. The color palette, dominated by deep blue, intense red, and white, harmonizes with exclusive elements such as:
- Silk rugs and cashmere upholstery for a soft, enveloping texture;
- Gray sycamore, palm wood, and walnut veneer, adding a touch of sophistication;
- Marble, smoked glass, and metal finishes, enhancing brightness and depth.
Every design element, from lighting to carefully selected accessories, defines a space that perfectly balances masculinity and glamour. The project stands out for its masterful use of premium materials, a key feature in luxury boutique design.

A New Standard for Men’s Personal Shopping
With this project, David Collins Studio redefines the luxury personal shopping experience, transforming it into an exclusive moment where the client is welcomed in a highly refined and comfortable environment. The furnishings for luxury flagship stores reach their highest expression here, positioning Harrods’ men’s personal shopping area as a benchmark in luxury retail interior design.
Through the use of exclusive materials and the perfect synergy between architecture and luxury store furnishings, this space represents an evolution of the tailor-made shopping concept, ensuring an unparalleled customer experience.
