The innovative ElefLab pharmacy-laboratory in Lixouri, on the Greek island of Kefalonia, is part of the new cosmetics brand Neiris. The project fits within the context of pharmacy design, integrating retail space and laboratory into a single fluid and communicative environment, where transparency becomes a key element of the experience.
The design, inspired by the colors of the Ionian Sea, creates a coherent and recognizable visual identity capable of unifying the different functions of the space. The pharmacy is not limited to being a point of sale, but becomes a hybrid environment where production and distribution coexist and are made visible to customers.
Tsikandilakis Lefteris & Architects designed a spacious retail area characterized by transparent glass openings, allowing a direct view into the preparation laboratory. This design strategy strengthens the relationship of trust with customers, inviting them to engage and connect with the products.
Inside ElefLab pharmacy, products are displayed along the perimeter through linear shelving systems, while central display units organize the layout in a clear and readable way. The brand logo, reproduced on the ceiling, contributes to a unified visual identity, interacting with the lighting system and defining a coherent atmosphere.
Materials and color strategy

The natural qualities of the brandโs products and the contemporary design approach are expressed through a precise selection of colors and materials. The dominant blue, inspired by the Ionian Sea, defines the identity of the space, giving it depth and a dynamic character.
The combination of glass and metal on the faรงade reinforces the relationship between interior and exterior, making the organization of the space visible and offering a preview of the customer experience. This design approach emphasizes transparency and the quality of the production process, turning the laboratory into an integral part of the brand communication.
