EuroShop 2014 (from 16 to 20 February 2014) will be Messe Düsseldorf’s launch of its new marketing campaign Expertise in Retail. This label will now serve to focus attention even more clearly on Messe Düsseldorf’s high level of professionalism in matters of retail exhibitions.

The trade fair organisers on the River Rhine have a unique portfolio of highly specialised retail trade fairs. EuroShop, EuroCIS, InterMopro, InterCool, InterMeat, Mediterranean Food, ProWein, GDS, Global Shoes and tag it! are high-powered events which have become clear fixtures in the retail industry. Each of these exhibitions is specially tailored to suit the needs of retailers, with a convincing quality of exhibitors and visitors, innovative power, dynamism and international exposure.

This expertise in retail on the premises of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre attracts up to 10,000 exhibitors per year, including an average of 60% from other countries across the globe. Year on year, Messe Düsseldorf’s trade fairs welcome approximately 220,000 decision-makers in the retail trade – again, with an international average of 60%.

With its decades of experience, detailed knowledge and in-depth understanding of the retail trade, as well as a good feeling for developments on the global retail scene and a worldwide network of foreign representatives, Messe Düsseldorf is an excellent partner and organiser of trade fairs for the retail trade.

This expertise in retail will now be consolidated into a joint marketing campaign, complete with a specially dedicated web platform: contains detailed information on the entire portfolio of Messe Düsseldorf’s retail exhibitions.

EuroShop 2014 is the ideal kick-off event for the label Expertise in Retail. With over 2,200 exhibitors on more than 115,000 square metres of net exhibition space, it is the world’s leading trade fair, covering the full scale of investment needs among retailers.

The “Expertise in Retail Lounge” at EuroShop can be found at stand G 39 in Hall 5. This is where the various Düsseldorf retail trade fairs will be showcased with their specific areas of core expertise. Each day, between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm hrs, they will present themselves to international trade visitors and thus to professional retailers at a special “Retail Hour”, with an opportunity for dialogue.

EuroShop 2014 will be open to visitors daily from Tuesday 16 February 2014 to Thursday 20 February 2014, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. A day ticket is EUR 60 (EUR 42 for an e-ticket, purchased online in advance), 2-day ticket EUR 80 (e-ticket: EUR 60) and a 4-day ticket EUR 135 (e-ticket: EUR 115). Students and trainees pay EUR 20. Entrance tickets include free trips to and from EuroShop on all trains, buses and trams within the networks of the VRR transport authority (Verkehrsverbund-Rhein-Ruhr).
