Versace Flagship Store in Paris by Curiosity

Interior design flagship store Versace di Parigi

Located on Rue Saint-Honoré, the new Versace flagship store in Paris was designed by Curiosity, the studio led by Gwenael Nicolas. Covering 427 sqm across three levels, the project combines marble, brass, handcrafted glass and contemporary artworks within a retail environment organised around a sequence of interconnected spaces displaying the brand’s collections.

The interior was conceived as a setting for presenting the different product categories while maintaining a coherent architectural identity throughout the store.

One of the project’s defining elements is a handcrafted glass ceiling derived from Versace’s Baroque motif, introducing a decorative layer that extends across the main retail space.

Collections are displayed through a sequence of dedicated areas that guide visitors from one environment to the next, creating visual continuity across the store.

Marble, brass and handcrafted glass define the interior

The material palette is deliberately restrained.

White and grey marble supplied by Margraf is combined with brass details and fluted wall surfaces that reinterpret architectural elements associated with Gianni Versace’s residence in a contemporary way.

A large handcrafted glass chandelier produced by Vistosi extends through the interior, accompanying visitors along the main circulation route while reinforcing the relationship between lighting and architecture.

Three floors organised by product category

The flagship is distributed across three levels connected by sculptural stairs in marble and brass.

The ground floor is dedicated to accessories, the first floor accommodates the women’s collections together with dedicated areas for shoes and haute couture, while the basement houses the men’s collections.

This organisation allows each department to occupy a clearly defined environment while maintaining visual continuity throughout the store.

Contemporary artworks complete the retail environment

Several contemporary artworks were commissioned specifically for the project.

The installations reinterpret the Medusa, one of Versace’s most recognisable symbols, establishing a dialogue between contemporary artistic interventions and the classical materials used throughout the interior.
