A renewed retail vision for Pure Gold

Studio KKD has reinforced its longstanding partnership with Pure Gold through the design of a new concept for the jewellery brand’s flagship stores. This latest retail vision is set to redefine the spatial identity of both current and future key locations. The project marks a strategic and sensorial evolution of the customer journey, introducing new service-driven touchpoints and a refreshed look and feel that balances aesthetics with functionality.

Translating values into design

Throughout the design process, Studio KKD remained deeply aligned with Pure Gold’s core values, translating them into an aesthetic that is light, luminous, and elegant, enriched by a touch of ethereal refinement. The aim was twofold: to strengthen the trust and loyalty of the existing clientele while offering a renewed brand experience capable of fostering deeper, more meaningful connections..

Materials, furnishings, and visual narrative

The flagship interior is structured around refined travertine counters with slender metal legs and softly illuminated display cases. These elements immediately convey a sense of sophistication and gracefully guide visitors through the brand narrative. Along the perimeter, tall glass vitrines present a thoughtfully curated selection of jewellery, enhancing the overall sense of luxury and exclusive discovery.

A sculptural ceiling installation

The ceiling becomes a key visual element through a bespoke art installation—a contemporary reinterpretation of Pure Gold’s signature pattern, rendered in delicate geometric forms that seem to float through the space. This sculptural feature fully embraces the vertical volume of the store, creating a bold visual statement while maintaining harmonious proportions that foster a sense of intimacy and ease.

A lounge for hospitality and interaction

Further inside, visitors are naturally drawn to a navy-blue focal point: the ‘coffee & conversation’ lounge. This area introduces a change in tempo, offering a more intimate and serene atmosphere designed to encourage personal interaction. Soft furnishings and a calming palette invite customers to explore the collections, engage with knowledgeable staff, and enjoy bespoke consultations. The space is enhanced by a custom-designed wallpaper created by Studio KKD, with a deep blue base and subtle golden veining—a unique signature detail.

An experiential flagship concept

The new Pure Gold flagship store stands out as an experiential retail space where every detail—from the furniture design to the lighting atmosphere, from material choices to spatial flow—has been thoughtfully crafted to encourage meaningful engagement and a truly immersive shopping experience. A concept that not only celebrates the brand’s identity but also delivers a refined, welcoming, and deeply personalized environment.
