Located inside Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, the first SKIMS pop-up store designed by Willo Perron introduces the visual language of Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand into a physical retail environment. Developed across a 280-square-meter ground floor space, the temporary store combines glossy surfaces, rounded geometries and neutral tones to create an immersive shopping experience inspired by body forms, curves and skin tones.
The project interprets the identity of SKIMS through a spatial concept based on softness, tactility and visual continuity. Rounded display systems, reflective finishes and curved partitions eliminate hard edges throughout the space, reinforcing the fluid and sensual aesthetic associated with the brand.

Rounded display systems and glossy surfaces define the spatial identity of the SKIMS pop-up
The retail concept eliminates sharp angles in favor of curved forms and softened edges. According to designer Willo Perron, the entire spatial language is conceived to encourage tactile interaction while visually referencing the curves and proportions of the human body.
Glossy beige partitions and oversized display units organize the interior while maintaining visual continuity throughout the pop-up store. The reflective finish amplifies light and reinforces the immersive atmosphere of the environment.
The large sculptural volumes also contribute to creating a softer perception of the retail space, transforming product display into a continuous architectural landscape.
Neutral tones and thermoformed materials reinforce the SKIMS brand language
The material palette is directly inspired by the tones and textures of the SKIMS collections. Thermoformed glossy plastic surfaces in neutral beige shades are used throughout the project to create a coherent visual identity aligned with the brand’s aesthetic.
Vacuum-formed elements are combined with traditional carpentry techniques finished in the same glossy coating, allowing furniture, partitions and display systems to appear as part of a unified spatial composition.
The monochromatic palette strengthens the immersive character of the store while emphasizing the relationship between surfaces, lighting and product presentation.

Integrated display systems organize shapewear, underwear and loungewear collections
Underwear, shapewear and loungewear products are integrated into chunky built-in display systems equipped with hooks, recessed shelving and curved niches. The architecture of the display units contributes directly to the spatial identity of the pop-up.
Changing rooms are enclosed within thick sculptural walls softened by pale pink curtains, creating a contrast between tactile intimacy and the reflective openness of the main retail area.
The display strategy prioritizes fluid customer circulation and visual accessibility while reinforcing the playful yet sensual atmosphere associated with the SKIMS brand.
Brand identity, inclusivity and sensory retail experience shape the temporary concept store
The pop-up store reflects SKIMS’ focus on inclusivity through a spatial language inspired by body diversity, softness and skin tones. The project translates these values into architectural forms, materials and customer interaction.
Additional experiential elements include macaroons created by pastry chef Pierre Hermé in colors coordinated with the collection palette. Oversized graphics featuring Kim Kardashian and a large sculptural SKIMS logo reinforce the immersive branding strategy throughout the retail environment.
The project combines retail design, visual merchandising and brand storytelling into a unified temporary environment where architecture, display and identity operate as a single experience.
